TAKE ME I AM TOTALLY RETARDED FOR THE FAIR!
Is that the day Weird Al is playing? Is there a Rodeo? Are we going to look at baby pigs suckling? Can we watch a hypnotism show? Can we sit at the incubator and watch chicks hatch? Wanna watch a draft-horse show? Have you ever seen the show where they have little kids rodeo-ride sheep? IT'S HILARIOUS! Can we cruise by the snakeoil salesmen and the rediculously ornate vegetable/preserves displays and eat giant turkey legs? MMmmmmScones!
Oh, Lee! I love the fair! I don't have a car!

Clair and I are hoping to do the Puyallup on Sunday, too. We'll give y'all a jingle if we make it. The Fair, Beware!
(Sorry no rides, we'll be coming from Oly)

i hate you guys. none of you can come play with my new toys.
You kids all grew up in the city or places without fairs as a kid didn't you? Well, Lee showed prize cows but I don't know why he has forsaken fair of his youth for the Puyallup.

Me and the fair don't get along. The first time I took a girl out on a date, I took her to the Evergreen County Fair (Monroe, Wa) and barfed all over her after too many trips on the flying swing-chair. Haven't been back since.
Henry, I'd help you move but I'm already helping my reprobate little sister move off the hill and back into Chateau Langston in Everett.

i grew up watching my dad drive in demolition derbies and eating fried cheese curds at the county fair
i also berthed a few calves, milked cows, slopped hogs, chased chickens, hunted, threw haybales and farmcats, shot at my cousins with imaginary corncob guns, chopped wood, crashed four wheelers, and helped butcher several varieties of delicious animal on my uncle's farm
i picked out my first puppy while she was lapping up frozen blood with her littermates from a pig we'd just stuck one february afternoon
dunno 'bout the rest a you
but the county fair feels like home

You guys are going to the puyallup? At least to to the Evergreen state fair if you're going to a fair.

My childhood was the exact same way. Parents and I would go to the Puyallup every single year, right up till somewhere around middle school / high school.
So, like wait, are we on to put this together or what?

1) i grew up in montana, and like many of you, the fair was an annual tradition, complete with livestock and gravitron-induced vomit.
2) i miss rodeos
3) i can't participate in the fair outing because i'll be in burlington playing for a spot at ultimate frisbee regionals.
4) i hope y'all have fun.

Make me think you could fling a frisbee pretty fucking far with gravitron assist.

I hear you Lemke, there was less animal blood and more rice cakes in my personalized version though.

1. A singular Bike Sabbath representative while at the Elysian on Monday *may* have promised to have the ride help Henry move.
2. I've been looking into a bike one-way, train/bus the other way ...

Shit, if going to the fair had been like that for me, I'd love it too. I'd be down for a run to the Fair. Went to the Puyallup a couple years ago. Was pretty fun.

I'm from Orange County, CA. The fair was a bunch of bullshit, unless Devo, or The B-52's were playing. Other than that it was a bunch of North County greasers and fake-ass Mike Ness wannabees with chopped 49 Merc's and Ford Crestlines. That being said, I'm down for some good ol' county fair action.
