My house was broken into this evening and I'm missing a few things. If you happen to see anything on ebay or craigslist please let me know:

Apple iBook G4, 60 gig hard drive, MS Office and OSX 10.4, about 4 years old
250 gig external hard drive. Not sure of the make, waiting for my brother on that. It's small and white, about the size of an ipod. No external power source, plugs in through USB.
iPod classic, black. Almost brand new. 120 gigs.
Bose headphones. Not noise canceling, but the big donut kind.

Anyway, no need to go out of your way, but if you happen to be shopping for stuff and see these things please drop me a line. I'm kind of feeling like I've lost a whole lot of my life. Thanks.

Thanks, it's okay. I've got tons of offers already. Friends, neighbors and family are overwhelmingly awesome.

I'm going to go on a drown-my-sorrows run this evening before a show at Neumos. Anyone who wants to help me forget what I might have lost is more than welcome.

Probably will do the drinking somewhere on the hill, but could possibly be convinced to go elsewhere.

That sucks Alex. I'm sorry to hear it. Had that happen to me a few years ago. Came in, nabbed by girlfriends ibook and my Thinkpad, a bunch of stuff from our roomie Austin. I have a laptop you can have if you want it but sounds like you're covered in that arena. Will buy you a drink when I see you next.

I'm sorry Alex, that is terrible. I have two extra pair of headphones (crappy ipod style), and an extra sanza mp3 player I never use. I'll be in town this afternoon, wanna meet up for coffee or headphone fun?

PS I still wanna dance on Saturday for your birthday fun, are you going at all? We could always have a spontaneous danceathon in Cafe Met. Or in the street.

Liz: I'll be off work at 5:30, might stay a bit late, but definitely want to get my drink on after work. My number's on my facebook profile, give me a call when you're around.

Hear, hear!

Alex, I am so sad that this happened. Stupid douchey people. I'll keep my eyes open for the stolen objects. And just in case you don't have enough offers, I do have an extra laptop and a few sets of headphones that are yours should you so desire.

Hang in there!

Sorry to hear this, Alex.
Fuck, it seems like I keep hearing about peoples stuff getting stolen.. bikes, parts off of bikes, home break-ins ... I guess with the shitty economy and all, some scumbags out there are getting pretty desperate for cash. :-P
In case it hasn't been emphasized enuf: renters insurance is a good thing to have...

Ethan speaks the truth on this one. It's like $10/mo. Don't be a cheap ass. Geico will facilitate it if you haven't made the jump.

Success: Sailing your yacht through the alps, the ropes made of licorice, the sails of pure sunshine.
