I didn't see anything for this ride yet, but just giving a heads up that Elysian is showcasing a new beer at THE FIELDS tomorrow at 7-til whenever. The Fields is their big bar in Pioneer/Sodo. Maybe we can ride over there and see what's up!!
I get out of work at 8 so I won't be jumping on this ride til after and I want to drink some yummy new Elysian beeeeer!

I agree! This is just a suggestion from a friend who is a brewer for Elysian. I will be riding from Ballard so my miles will be added once I figure out where the hell you guys are going. Still gonna have a beer at The Fields......I am not passing that up. I got all night.

Ben hates it when things he enjoys become popular with others. His is a world in which he, and only he, should be allowed to enjoy certain things. Those things become vastly distasteful to him as soon as other people join him at the trough of popular culture output.
That my friends is what we in the biz call a jaded hipster.

funny thing, i've never been called a hipster, and i'm constantly being called jaded.
i just hate when they put a small show on the "suggests" page and then lemmings sell it out in 4 min.

plus, you can ride your bicycle in their new music video down in portland next wednesday. one caveat, they want you to get naked.

It's been a while since they came out with lyrics that didn't make me cringe with embarassment, why not embrace how rediculous they've gotten and ride naked to it on mushrooms?
Wait, they're doing this in late September? Hope they don't mind too much shrinkage, could get blustery.

I'll be there.
As of 1:30 today, I am done with a week of taking grueling qualifying exams, and several months of studying for them. As such, I badly need something to do. I cannot ride a bike yet, and all of my other friends have disowned me. I guess prefunk is what I'm left with.

Where is this ride going? I know there will be booze, which doesn't interest me particularly. But somebody said Burien(?) and somebody else said Shoreline...so where is it going?
