It is sad that Lee is using a 20 year old Garfield reference. It is sadder that I recognized it.

i feel like we didn't live up to our full potential: sketchy's spelling in the post announcing the ride was more horrific than the ride itself. overall it was pretty tame.
westlake to 1st to broad to myrtle edwards
myrtle edwards up to commodore and across the locks
sloop
22nd ave nw up to 85th where rabuck got a little road rash
take a big load of jimmy's wood
holman road qfc
down into carkeek
fire, fireworks, fire, whiskey, beer
yen wor garden for crappy drinks and karaoke
homezors
but i'm home and it's only 2am! i do commend sketchy and laurel for actually bringing their campin' gear and staying at carkeek. i also commend ben for having to leave carkeek fifteen minutes after we showed up and instead staying for three hours.
sketch, congrats on the new career path!
i hope low-ratio (peter?) and tv's rainn wilson made it home okay. carkeek is impressive for making people puke and being real difficult to get a ride out of.

All and all a good ride, carkeek was nice, ryan nice work drinking, tall guy on fixie with little gears, are you still alive? hobo camp was good, slept well, as did the squirel. Kos stumbled out of the woods about 8:30 this morn saying something about me peeing by him in a dream and wondering were the fuck we were camped. went to get pancakes at the blue dog on 15th. Went to second ascent to get the squirrel some new pedals. Now home shower bound.
Thanks kids.
The squirrel has some interesting photos from the nights adventures.

Well not everything was ok. After leaving Carkeek and the bar took a nap(!?!) near REI, the ride up the hill was too daunting, woke up to my wife's phone call (4 am - where are you?!!!!!!), pushed my bike home and found my wallet missing. I think someone rolled me when i was sleeping. 2 fradulent charges on my account this morning, one on my business card. DAMAGE CONTROL in progress!!!

No great antics were had. There was one decent text that came out of it.
I, in the text message, wrote:
You fucker, this is koos. I'm sleeping out in the woods, but I coukldnt find you. See if you can find me in the morning.

It's a bit late...But, I had fun on Thursday! I was a bit tossed and on my way home from the karaoke bar I took a bad spill. I have been layed up in bed for the last few days. Luckily my Pinarello wasn't ruined and I just bruised my tailbone. Although I made a nice dent in my helmet. Whiskey + Champagne = bruised tailbone and a black/blue ass. BEARD SCIENCE!!
