I am thinking about organizing weekly road rides on Mondays. These rides won't be quite as much fun, I want to climb lots of hills and get in 40 miles each ride. I'm not going to call these training rides...I don't race anymore and don't want to. But I do like to throw on the spandex and mash away for a few hours a week. Hit me up with some feedback. I would like to have the first ride this Monday (12th). Meeting at Stumptown on 12th Ave. on Capitol Hill. The time is up for debate, I'm off work that day and can go anytime. Earlier the better though as it's getting darker much sooner.

I would enjoy doing some more challenging group rides on Mondays (and can't quite bring myself to attend a Cascade event unless I'm wearing a pirate flag.)
I'm going to be out of town for most of this month, though, and I'll probably do a few more races in November, so doing something difficult on a Monday is probably not going to work for me before the new year, realistically.
If you get this off the ground, though, I hope to catch up with you and your group this winter, when it's going to be a lot harder for me to drag my lazy ass out for rides on my own.

Having ridden with the Monday Muscle group once or twice, I can tell you that they DO tend to ride much harder/faster/stronger than .83, but I don't think it's what you'd be looking for. They still stop at bars and drink relatively frequently.
