run boy run! He needs to get off the continent ASAP. There's a beach in Mexico that he should find, before the Man finds him.

so wait, he's a kid, flying planes when he's not trained to do so, and the cops haven't been able to nab him? i'd check to see if he's doctorin' at the local hospital.

Yeah, he seems like he might do well south of here.
If Colton Harris-Moore slashed my tire I would totally swoon!

this is where the article kind of goes off the rails. wtf seattle times:
Quote:
On one Web site, there is a forum in which a news story about the youth is discussed. "What a badass," said a commenter going by the name, Resident Evil.
Kohler said her son has eluded officers "because he's smart. He did take an IQ test, and he's three points below Einstein."
In Granite Falls on Monday, two 11-year-old middle-school girls were talking about the news that had hit their small community.
"A kid that young shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff," Madi Matronic said.
Said her friend, Madi Devine-Merrifeild: "I can't believe he did it by himself.
madi matronic? seriously?

I have one Large and one Medium in hand. That's all they had left in those sizes, but they're getting some more tomorrow. So I'll stop by Thursday morning to pick up the rest.
$10 each.
When I arrived they said Komo news had just left. They'll be on at 11:30 tonight. They said people are talking on the internet about boycotting them, so they're relieved that we're buying some shirts.

boycotting? bah!
if this kid started robbing banks and giving the money to homeless shelters or food banks, he'd be a god.

I agree with screen printer. Beats the hell out of living with his ma back in the trailer in BFE Camano.

Learning how to fly shouldn't be too hard...
All you gotta do is type "Flight Manual" into the ever-powerful Google, choose the very first link, and you should be able to fly an SR-71 Blackbird in no time! I'm going to start studying right away... I don't want to crash land like this amateur Colton.

The closest one at the Seattle Museum of Flight is not whole, but it doesn't say whether the one in Portland is operable. Let me know when you find out.

Haha, nice find. Will D.A.R.Y.L. be the featured presentation at our next movie night?!
We can spot the Factual errors within the movie and learn from them before we go about getting our own!:
The General in D.A.R.Y.L. speaks about the airplane being able to outrun all available ordinance. While this is completely true, there are a few problems with this scene. The SR-71 was designed to fly at 80,000ft and cruise at Mach 3.2. However, Daryl is shown as wearing a standard oxygen mask and flight gear and his ejection would have been lethal at these parameters. Special flight suits were designed to withstand the heat and decompression of ejecting at this height and speed. It is much more likely that Daryl's stolen SR-71 was being flown at a low altitude and and speed (for this class of aircraft). If he were flying low enough and slow enough to survive the ejection (his passing out is potentially accurate), then surface-to-air ordinance would likely be capable of overtaking the craft.

G*retch is heading down to Portland tomorrow, we can send here on a secret mission to find out for us...
OR we could just steal a front loader/back hoe and wreck havoc like some other burglars did last weekend... jeez, what the heck has been going on here lately?...

correction. They have a complete one, and the nose cone of another that crashed. The restored cone is like the horsies outside Walmart, you can climb in and play ass-pilot. The complete jet is in the middle of the Great Gallery. It is very impressive in person.
