Should also talk to Bob Hall. Although I hear he's begun an exciting career as a pizza delivery boy.

That one dude with the sailboat that was married but was always trying to get nasty with the .83 ladies was a java dev at WaMu, he's probably looking for work.

I'm confused. I thought your only responsibilities were diaper changing and whiskey drinking. What is this "needs to hire" business?

I live on a sailboat.
I have never written a line of Java.
I am not Chris.
I deliver pizza by bike, which is a damn fine job in this economy, and will not tolerate criticism of it by any taxi-hailing gingers.
That is all.

My bad. All you programmers look the same to me.
And Bob, if you could drop off a large pepperoni and olive to 2239 Boylston Ave, apt #2 in Eastlake around 6pm tonight, that'd be sweet. I'll pay with cash.

Come work at Amazon and use the finest computers 2002 has to offer!
If this is a jobs thread, I should mention that my team is looking to hire a product manager.

I'll add that my company (Isilon) is looking for an Infiniband dev lead. Not that I expect even our band of geeks has that expertise. But just in case, throwing that out there.

I've had to dick with infiniband quite a bit. Mostly testing HPC apps with MVAPICH and our virtualization product. I am just starting to look for another job but I don't think clustered computing is where I'll head. I'm also a Java dev but word off the street leads me to believe amazon may not be where I want to work.
So now that I've ruled everything out, who wants to hire a software developer/system administrator that refuses to use a microsoft product?
