hey ho. the point83 server is up for renewal again. ill keep this short and simple and to the point:

if you enjoy the site, enjoy the community, and dont mind throwing a couple of bucks to help pay for the costs of the server, well that would be mighty appreciated. races, parties, funerals, weddings, friends, enemies, birthdays, rides, alcoholism, sexscapades, injuries, and everything else get organized through here, and it costs a couple bucks a year to keep it going on a server

you dont have to, dont need to feel obligated to, or anything like that. we definitely have people of different means around here and it's in no way required... but if you have a couple extra bucks and wouldnt mind helping us pay for our 119 dollar a year server bill... well schucks, we'd (my pocketbook) would be thrilled.

paypal derrick@clarknewmedia.com by clicking here: www.point83.com/donate , ill delete this thread when needed.
thanks!

I designed this approval meter for work. It got nixed for its resemblance to a vile of urine.

Feel free to use it.

I just guessed at what it might take to finish this pledge drive and gave $40. If I overflowed it then maybe Lando can buy me a beer sometime. Of course I still owe .83 a lot of beer from one of these pledge drives many years ago...

I'm fine with a pretty normal beer and maybe Lando and his buddies can have one too.
