The Hold Steady tickets were given away ages ago. My friend snagged 2 from the Stranger though, so I'm overcoming my urge to go nap all night and listening to Separation Sunday right now. See you there, Klingon!

Amen on the SoDo mainfloor. Bad layout, bad sound, bad security. Is there anything they do right in that venue?
Although, when they have small shows in the small stage in the bar area - brilliant, always brilliant. Up close and intimate like in Chop Suey or Sunset, but better lit, less sweaty, more-accessible floorplan.
