I agree.

It's starting to look the crash section of a skate video.

thirded. and stop crashing in general.

here's a little primer for autumnal cyling;

the roads are slicker than you think.
The margin for error is smaller than it is when the weather is good and the sun is out.
Take extrawhen taking turns at speed, and around painted road markings.
Assume the driver of that car can't see you and can't slow down as fast as they think.
Put on fenders and wear proper gear. Your ability to focus and perfom is hindered by hypothermia, ass-clinging wet denim and miserable feet.

Rogelio, I hope you're okay. More importantly, I hope your bike is ok!

Another tip I just discovered last week. Wet leaves are even more slippery with slick tires, even fancy high thread count racer-ish ones.

My general approach to riding in the wet is to slow down by 2 - 3 mph and take turns at around 5 mph less.

Also lots of lights.

Can someone please tell his still-drunk ass that if he vomited blood he should really go to a doctor? Jeeeesus.

The heavy drinking came AFTER the car crash thank you. So any redness should be attributed to the removal of tissue from my esophageal area and the blooding thinning properties of ye olde alcohol.

Quote:
While Riding Your Bike Through Town

First and foremost, cars are your enemy. Watch out for drivers not watching you—especially the ones texting. Always wear a helmet. Claim your share of the road. Use your signals. Be aware of traffic behind you. And when you're texting with your friends while riding your bike through town, only do so when you are coasting downhill at high speed and you can text with both hands free from the handlebars. It looks good to text on a bike with both hands, true; but when compared to texting with one hand, you text faster this way and therefore decrease your odds of an accident. Further, if you do crash into something, like a car with a texting driver that doesn't see you, your downhill speed and the fact that you are not holding the handlebars will create a catapult effect that will hurl you far enough into the air—perhaps into oncoming traffic—that your odds of dying will increase exponentially. It's better to die in an accident like this. Have you ever been in a bike wreck? Man, you don't want to deal with the broken bones and road rash.
From: McSweeney's: Five other activities during which texting can be dangerous.

I love having instant messaging, texting, microblogging, and e-mail on my phone; full QWERTY wins.

Well, I'm encouraged you did at least a little damage to the car. I always end up with the car being unscratched even when my bike is totaled.

Heal fast. I've got an extra 57cm steel frame if either of ya needs it.

ryan wrecked on his own, then i think both of them got hit by that car. The car hit is about 500 yards away from where ryan went into a bush.

Nice ricochet into the slut tracks. That's a sad place to wreck. Bullshit bicycle alternate route that doesn't meet the standards for a bike route (e.g. that low hanging sign at the station).

I see po-po so it should go into the system automatically, but don't forget the other good ways
to report your accident.

I hate seeing photos of bikes laying on the ground and people standing around a car near them. makes my stomach hurt.

glad you are both ok!

That is somewhat near my house and I feel like that's going to happen to me all the time there. LAME.
