Damn, sorry to hear this dudes. I have a decent amount of parts kicking it in my basement I'll give out. Also a spare 57cm bike you can borrow if someone needs it for awhile. Nice to see the car got some ruckus.

If anyone riding on Tuesday actually saw us wreck, I'd really appreciate it if you could provide a statement for the lawyer people. Anything at all would help. Also on the police report, the cop stated "possibly ganng related". Are we a gang now?

This really pisses me off. Hell, even if this was a "gang" does that negate the fact that a driver made poor decisions and hit two cyclists?

I think it just sorta worked out that the cop (who was for the most part, very helpful) just checked a box on the software that auto-fills police reports. The driver was cited, but the officer refused to breathalize the driver, even though his passenger ended up driving away from the scene. On the police report, the driver admitted he was "distracted when talking to his friends" The officer also noted that "RYAN stated he had been drinking"; bastard. I told the cop we had come from a bar, where we exchanged canned food for half price beers and I had drank beer before the accident. The report says that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Gang, group whats the difference. As far as I'm concerned we have always been a quasi gang, just one that doesn't do anything to illegal.

Every year in July CBC converges on small towns in Western Washington like Winthrop and Castle Rock to terrorize the residents.

I think the first time we got into a street fight with frat boys we crossed the line to "gang". I consider our spoke card to be a sort of "brand" or color, and if I saw some homeless dude riding a carded bike, I would straight tackle a fool to get it back for you (and I'd hope you'd do the same)

Short update.

Nicks gonna be alright. Talked to him last night on the phone at 3am and again like 5 minutes ago. Fractured hand/wrist. Cut on his head. That's about it. If you'd watched that Nissan take him broadside at 30+ mph while he ran his busted bike across the street to catch the train, you'd be amazed he came out with as little as he did.

Best of luck Nick.

I guess. I just fear that I'm overdue to get mowed down by one of these malicious drivers that's out there hitting everyone else.
