I'm dreaming of a bike trip out to Ocean Shores next Summer. When I was a kid my family would go out there and stay in this really shitty, cheap, blue collar place called the Beachwood Resort. Don't believe the map - it's right on the water, and there's a pool and a game room, and there's sand in the carpet and prickles in the lawn - lovely. It's still around, and still affordable. Want to ride bikes out there in June of 2010, with a stopover at the farm in Olympia for all of you Seattle kids? I do!
