I got a late start this morning, so i took the bus to work. It took me 45 minutes instead of the 1:20 biking would have taken.
Now i'm on the bus home. I've been on it for 30 minutes. We've gone 1 mile.
I could walk faster.
I miss my bike.

Yes, but can you post to the forum from your bike?

I suffered that monday and tuesday, when dead legs and inclement weather pushed me into the bus to work. My normal 20 min commute took 50 min to go 6 miles.

distance between my job and my apartment: 14.5 miles
time in car: 45 minutes (on average)
fastest time on bike: 51 minutes
average time on bike: 58 minutes
Time on public transit: I don't know. I mean I tried it once and just remember it being a long ass time. 2 hours maybe. Holy shit, I can run 15 miles in two hours.
But, in all fairness to the transit system, I used the Trip Planner which never gives you the fastest way to get anywhere. Once I know the system a little better, I could probably drop the time down below what it would take in a car because of the bus-only lanes on 522.
I'd still rather ride my bike.
