Certain key blank shapes are all do not copy, i did the above steps to get keys to our place in capitol hill and was turned down at QFC and Bartells, eventually Lee's Key's in U Village did it with a forged note from the "Home Owners Association" of my "Condo Building".

Yes, we went to Blue Ridge Park to see Christmas Ships and warm ourselves by their bonfire. We were politely asked to leave by the poor neighbor who drew the 'close up the park after the Xmas ships' community job that year, after he'd done all the other tasks he could do. He was pretty nice.
That park is private, btw. I'm dying for the Sheridan Beach Xmas ship date to fall on a Tuesday one of these days. Lake Forest Park rich folks desperately need their private beach party to be crashed by a bunch of bike hooligans.

my capsule review of election parties attended tonight:
edgewater (mallahan, constantine, no-1033): all of them had good snack selections (eggrolls, roasted mushrooms and red peppers, etc), $7 bottles of alaskan amber.
mallahan: 2nd floor, relatively small room, crowded and kinda douchey. lots of firefighters. no sign of the man himself.
constantine: 4th floor, huge space. lots of people but still pretty open. big screens with all the election results running and a happy crowd. dow is on live tv, clearly in an adjacent room (you can hear the muted cheering).
no on 1033: 3rd floor, looks like they finagled a suite room in the edgewater. kinda half-assed - you need signs to find it down one of the hallways. the hangout space for people too overwhelmed from the other parties.
sierra club: we headed to find them at the pike pub, but they'd already headed up the hill to mcginn's party. beer at pike's was good as always. ++fan of the auld acquaintance.
mcginn: war room. i showed up just after a fabulous car-hits-bike crash, in this case greg managed to turn left directly in front of an oncoming jeep and not only fuck his bike and dent the jeep but also get thrown into the parked komo van and leave a big dent. no food, $4 red stripe bottles. mcginn himself was shaking hands and talking with folks. he looked at ease. saw david hiller from cascade, and he told me to forward his calls to the mayor's office.
approve ref 71: pravda. caroline had never seen this place so hoppy. ryan said that it "had free food" but was "kinda gay". $4 tallboys of miller high life, cheese and cracker plate plus fruit and mini-brownies. turned into quite a dance party. it was, in fact, raining men. vaguely depressing projection on the wall showing six counties marked as 'pro-71' and the remainder against.
ginsberg: cafe met. honestly we were going here anyhow. ginsberg was a solid loser against conlin, and by the time we showed up (11pm) there was no trace of a party left. fortunately, happy hour was just starting and we got a couple of $5 pitchers of pbr and retired to the couches in the back to rest up after a long night of doing our civic duty.

Rich parties have good food, but make you pay for booze. The only possible free beer I heard of was at O'Brien's party at the Fremont Abbey, which was apparently a microbrew tasting party. Even if the beer wasn't free, I bet it wasn't $7 a bottle.
Also according to the Stranger, Rosencrantz's house party had no alcohol outside of the medicine cabinet. I'd avoid house parties in the future, unless they are in O'Brien's backyard.
[Hmm, O'Brien has thrown 2 parties, both of them supposedly a blast. I know where we should go in 4 years.]
Don't bother with parties for losers. They are depressing.
Don't bother with parties for candidates you don't like. If they win, it sucks, and if they lose, gloating still isn't as fun as being at a party of a winner who you wanted to win. Par example: I voted for Dow, but he wasn't my hero. But it sure was nice to be among hardcore Constantine supporters when the ballot drop occurred.
