I'm planning the annual pilgrimage to Eugene for Thanksgiving, but I'm thinking about leaving some time to cause trouble in Portland.

Options:
Leave Tuesday morning, stay in Portland overnight, head to Eugene Wednesday.
Leave Tuesday morning, spend the afternoon in Portland, Eugene same evening.
Hit Portland on the way back (i.e. Saturday or Sunday), similar options.

All travel via Amtrak.

Like I said, I'll only be spending a day at most there before leaving you to your own devices. Anyone interested? If so, let me know in the next day or two - tickets are selling out fast.
