Monica's Stoop
Hula Hula (not karaoke)
Crescent Lounge (bad karaoke)
Fireside Lounge at the Sorento Hotel (pissed off a date with blinkies, farted on them, did shots of wild turkey)
Hideout (at capacity)
The Pony (gay)
The Cuff (gayer)

Okay, no more stealing microphones from karaoke joints. That means you Aaron Bradford. We all got searched and Kristen had a bottle of Bourbon taken from her by the bouncers because someone shoved a mic damn near up my ass at the cuff. It was funny the first time, but last night went a bit too far. Someone owes kristen a bottle of bourbon.

Redwood (peanuts)
Chase's place (bourbon, dog)

there's a first for everything. never had i ever been kicked out of a bar. i guess i can cross that item off of the ol' bucket list. i just always figured it would be for something a bit more epic than not finishing my bourbon before entering said bar. *sigh*

Everyone, please to leave your liquor out in your cars if you plan on stealing from the bar.

lesson learned.

wasn't me. the stolen mic resulted in bag checks, during which the bouncers discovered my bourbon and subsequently asked me to leave.

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to bring booze into a bar ... unless you are somehow supplying that bar with it's booze supply.

Alcohol is a controlled substance. Although i intend to show very little self control when it comes to my consumption of it tonight.

i did a little poking around and can't find anything in the rcw or the wac that says an individual can't bring booze into a bar and not consume it. i did find an... interesting... list of prohibited conduct.

now, the owner of an establishment can restrict all kinds of behavior, and rightly ought, but if you have a rule that says "no white sneakers" and kick me out for violating it, you don't get to keep my sneakers.

what's more, since liquor is a controlled substance, it seems to me like a bar might actually get in trouble for taking possession of same from anybody other than a licensed distributor.

booze is serious business, apparently when the police seize your liquor they have to report it to the liquor control board.

Point83 lawyer pocket reference guide to Stupid Shit We Do Often should eventually be created.

As a man with proclivities towards the 'spensive bottles, I'd like to know my rights when my booze is attempting to walk away from my messenger bag.

As your lawyer, I recommend you not steal microphones from karaoke venues, and not give bars that we might want to return to a reason to be unreasonable about the booze they find on us when forced to search for said equipment.

I believe this is covered in rule 12 of the all too germane wisdom as found in the point83 TOS.

I didn't know dumbfuckery was a word, but I'll take it.
