Sunday is supposed to be one of the nicest days this week. Lets take advantage of it.

This week Bike Sabbath will be heading to Vashon Island. Only a half hour ferry ride from West Seattle.

Where we can ride bikes to ride bikes.

or see bikes in trees

Or see a cute light house, (that I cant think of how to make bike related).

We will also probably stop as Rock Island Pub and Pizza for beer as supposedly they have a good beer garden, a fireplace, and horribly cheesy nic nacs all over.

BACK TO THE USUAL
Fremont Coffee 11am meet up. 11:30 departure.

Special bonus points for the lighthouse detour: instead of riding back on 240th/Pt Robinson Rd, take Luana Beach Rd back. It's got a steep climb, but the views are beaucoup awesome and there's a nice descent with some hairpin radness.

EDIT: Oh, one other thing- like many establishments on Vashon, Rock Island Pizza is closed Sundays. It's been a while since I rode Vashon, but I recall that there were a few restaurants on "Downtown" Vashon Hwy that are open.

In. I'll be getting my coffee on at Zeitgeist at about 11:30 and join the party as you head south.

Tonight...Mostly clear. Lows 43 to 53. Light winds.

Sunday...Sunny. Highs 65 to 70 near the coast to 70 to 75 inland. Light winds.

Stoked! I can't wait!

Where'd you get that? I've seen 70% chance rain.

Either way, I'm going to have to back out- domestic chores prevail. Sad.
