I have a question regarding oven access.

For the Spicy Savory Sweet Potato Casserole (of Awesome) I can complete all the prep and such beforehand and haul that on the bike. Will it be possible to get 40 minutes of oven time to cook it there or is that pushing it?

If you're in desperate need of an oven, mine will be empty a short six blocks or so south of you. Let me know, I'll leave a key.

I think we're good, my oven can take two full sheet pans. once the bird is done I can put it in pre-heated cooler for holding.

I've catered for 100+ out of a smaller kitchen before, so it ain't no thing.

EDIT:

I'm totally out of the devil weed. it's a crucial ingredient in almost everything I will be cooking, someone should bring some!

I'd like to come, I have a mountain of the most delightful fudge to bring. I'm not a fudge fan, but this is sickeningly good stuff. I can bring some wine and maybe another good dish too. Also, safety, of middling quality.

Haven't been around much lately, I need to remedy that.

Any idea of something you'd like brought that hasn't been offered yet? I cook good.

I should really be trying to get some sleep...

couple house rules I forgot to mention but have been sitting here fretting about.

Please remove your shoes.
Please don't be a jerk.
The grey cat can and will kick your ass, the house will not be held responsible for lost limbs.
Please vomit in committee approved containers only.
Please don't try and light a fire. the firebox is cracked and I'm not sure what will happen if we burn shit in there.

the over will be at 325 for most of the day (with very limited space), then to 350 once the bird comes out.

if anybody should happen by an open grocery store. I could really use one (another) of those giant disposable aluminum turkey pans.

I think I made too much stuffing.

EDIT:

I'll move the jetta out of the garage and people riding can park in there.

also ifin you don't have it 206.948.7974 if you're getting shot at you're probably too far south and west.

Hi, my name is Chase. Some of you might know me from my brother, he's on TV a lot. Anyway, my friend Scott told me that if I didn't come to this I was un-American. I don't have to be to stupid work untill 5:30, so if the stick person will let me in his home I'll be there. I've got a few 22oz Night Owl pumpkin beers. Ill bring those and possibly some street cred.

Thank you so much to everyone that turned out! as that was also my unofficial housewarming my house is now a home. thanks for popping her cherry. I really liked my kitchen before yesterday, now I can't stop having sex with it.

extra special thanks to Ben and Laura for handing over the reigns, to Truck for carving the meats so I could go sit outside in the rain and drink a beer, Larry for bringing the vegan eats, and Pete fucking Jr. for the safety!

there were a couple items left behind; Ben I have some more of your plates and utensils.

1 brown hoodie size M
1 digital camera
1 blue bandanna
1 copy of Cooks "Country" October/November 2007

sorry I didn't make the ride, I had second dinner shortly after everyone left and woke up in a puddle of my own drool.
