heyo. we've done this for 5 years now. and this is the one day of the year that we've always pushed the ride back 1 hour so people have more time with family/friends/crying alone/etc.
doing it again this year. instead of meeting at 7 / riding at 7:30
MEET AT 8 / ride at 8:30
spread the word. (facebook, twitter, whatever)
ill probably be back in seattle early enough to get to westlake just in case someone didnt know, ill try and stop in there at 7 and give a heads up, then probably over to the whiskey bar for a couple drinks (they've been open the last couple of years).
history lesson:
this is the groups 5 year anniversary. we started the first ride on thanksgiving night 2004. traditionally not many things are open, but on the up side, the roads are almost empty. always makes for a nice night to ride and helps digest all that food. see you kids out there.

Another history lesson: the Knarr is closed on Thanksgiving.

Because there's no need to account for scale; I, for the most part, have to think twice, then cut once.

You're thinking about the guys at the Casa Latina. You know, the ones at your eye-level.
Dude, she's at waist level for you... and she's got a cutting implement. I wouldn't mess with her. You might be half the mexican you used to be when she gets done with you.
Also, I will not be on the ride. Please don't cut me.

Hi my name is Chase. You probably have no idea who I am, but I know something that's important that I wanted to tell you. Derrick Ito is an ass hole, and I will be bartending tonight at Cafe Metropolitain from 6-I decide it's time to close. So indoor bike parking, and like every night, a pointy3 drink special. Merry Thanksgiving and tip your bartender, don't stab him.

I think my favorite part of the evening was trying to hold in all my stuffing while racing Beau to the BBBB.
Also, I have a lens cover in my pocket, I assume it's Rogelio's.
Peter: Keep on keepin on, brother. It will catch.
