It's a block from my house and I get a bulk discount on dinner. I've found this much easier than trying to get along with a girl long enough that she'll cook for me.

You guys would not last in the hipster wilds. Cutting one's own hair and having it look good is equivalent to your ability to start a fire and being able to maintain it as a heat source/cooking area; it's one of them life skills.

After four years of living in the city, I've managed to rise to the level of giving myself haircuts that look like a "mangy dog... a cute mangy dog" per Bike Sabbath yesterday. I'll keep practicing.

The Weekly has 4x the sales staff, hence the proportionate volume of advertisers. They also distribute beyond Capital Hill/ UDist and can sell nationwide advertisers to their 18 other sister-papers. Been there, sold that.
