Final chance to get in on some action.

Greenlake Race o' Champions

We meetup at Westlake 7-7:30

Race at 8:30- December champ!

and then

Race at 8:50- El Champion De El Year-O 2009!!!

and then

To a bar, inside, where it's warm.

and then

Possibly go trash Julia's house! burn something or whatever.

SO: getting together in Westlake Center at 7:30 and wandering over to Greenlake area and kick off a final December race around 8:30, followed by an all ladies race, followed by the Race of Champions. The fastest December rider and the fastest woman will also race for the beautiful trophy and prizes in the Race of Champions.

Got it?

It seems like a suitable prerequisite to a girls race of champions would be that there had been a ladies race each month that year ... or i'm just a dickhead. That's possible too.

Given that the ladies' prize is, what? a bottle of something Rogelio picked up the day before? a soiled dirndl? sounds like it's Rogelio's call.

I'll get a decent prize for the ladies... thank you.

The fastest lady takes something nice and a lady trophy, plus prizes for second, and third lady. DFLL gets something questionably tasty.

Now, time to recall the winners of each month because I lost my little notebook listing them all around mid-October.

I think C-Line won sometime this year. Some lady won in August too.

True. I think C-lion won once, and another time *just* lost to a lady with punky dyed hair...

so change of date. The housewarming Christmas thing at my house will be on Friday instead. Thursday seems too risky. SO..either a tacky sweater or formal thang.

Looks like I have to miss this one.

Did Bryan win any this year? Is someone else available to push him off the course?

Bryan did win, and I'll try to push him off myself if you can't make it. Maybe I'll just use a mid-course banana peel or something: it'll be a surprise!

A forecast low of 7.2°C. It's practically summer out there!

WOOO!

Prefunk at T dock. If you have better prefunk suggestion such as "oh god, not Earl's" feel free to speak up.

I'll prefunk at Earl's, it's right next to my work. The rest of you - those who don't want a waterglass of gin - can bite me.

The T-dock on Lake WA, or some other T-dock that is closer to Westlake?

I think he means the T Room adjacent to the Westlake food court.

I just discovered that Snoose Junction Pizzeria up on Greenwood and Holman/105th has a second happy hour from 10:00pm-12:30am. Drafts were a buck off and they had 10" cheese pizzas for $4.12 the last time I was there. Maybe not tonight, but could be a good place to go before or after a Carkeek fire some night.

It's funny because I meant our summer swimming spot, but it's winter and the water is cold so someone should pick somewhere better to go.

this is why the people who can't swim aren't allowed to decide where to go swimming.

I think if you really try hard, Derrick, you could infect both the .83 and the Slog crowd.

Hey Greg, did you get some of the crepes they were giving away on the mezzanine level? I'd stop in before they're gone if I were you.

Everyone else who doesn't work in UWT: I can't wait to pre-prefunk at Earls! Who wants to join me in 25 minutes?

Rohelio, your humor is in extremely poor taste. Apparently your pompous douchiness knows no bounds.

I hope you're pleased with yourself. You always are.
