Hey Everybody, are you tired of party planning threads yet?
Our very own straightedge underage boy genius Alec/limpyweta is turning 21 on Dec 14th. You know Alec, right? He's blond, usually has a big smile on his face and he cheerfully hangs outside bars when they ask for his ID until we come out, drunk and boisterous - just for the pleasure of riding with us to the next bar he's going to get kicked out of. So, good news, Alec won't have to miss out on any indoor fun anymore.
It also means that he can legally drink beer with us, but he doesn't plan to start. Alec doesn't like beer, he just likes us. It turns out he also like cake.
Cake and Icecream.
I found this out some time around June, and I promised Alec a cake and icecream party/ride.
Well the wheel of time has turned and Dec 14th is upon us. So, I know, Monday is an off day. Do folks want to make next Tuesday's ride a cake-and-icecream/Alec's birthday themed ride? Anybody want to offer to bake a cake?
Alec, what do you like, man? You prefer a house party? barhop? icecream parlor trek? We could get icecream in Wallingford (molly moo) or cap hill (same, plus that kickass custard place) also, cupcake royale is open late on the hill or in ballard.

in the event of a house party, i'd be happy to contribute in the form of baked goods. i've never tried a full-blown cake from scratch before, but i'd be willing to make an attempt, since it seems to be the birthday boy's preference. happy 21st, alec!!!!

True fact: Alec is hardcore. On mornings when it's rainy or extra cold or I'm wildly hungover and sitting on my bus waiting to go to work, I will see him haul ass calmly up sunset hill. I slink in my seat whenever this happens, which is often.
I am down for whatever we do. I will drink beer for both of us!
