What amazes me is that apparently more than a couple of people, people i know even, are reading the pi.com. That positively floors me.

it's hard to imagine how the pi isn't a runaway financial success.

Hey nerds. My work (Isilon) is hiring developers for all sorts of systems work. We make a clustered file server, so there are opportunities in file systems, kernel (FreeBSD), networking, administration tools, the whole gamut. Prior experience isn't necessary if you can figure it out on the job.
We're probably also hiring sales people if that's your thing.
It's a pretty great place to work. Good people, interesting product. We're located right above the Sculpture Park.
PM me a resume and I'll get it in the right hands.
Also, like Henry, I get a hiring bonus. Unlike Henry, ours is $5000. So, if anybody gets hired from here, I'll buy a few rounds.
