don't give me any more cigarettes.
and if you see me with one grab it and punch me in the sac.

for no reason and under no circumstances can change my mind.
ever.

not even while camping.

I don't even like smoking, but I'm gonna go outside now and do the same.

I'm going to be nicer too. But I'm still crashing the party.

Lee, I have a hard time imagining you being nicer. The only person nicer than you is like, Mike OD. Or Ro. Or Alex. Or Alec. Or Laurel the Squirrel. Or Margaret. Or Caroline. Either of them. We have the best Carolines, hands down. They're both nice as pie. Which is pretty nice. Or Koos. Or Nova. THAT woman is nice to retarded seals. She's nice to everyone. Drives me crazy. Actually you need to be meaner. You're more fun when you're meaner.

Carry on

so much about point83 is explained here:
Quote:
In general, if a group seems genuinely cliquey, then think twice about inviting yourself along to something they're doing. Sometimes it is hard to tell though. A group of friends may be totally open to new people joining them, but are so close with each other they unintentionally give off an air of being exclusive.

I actually had the exact same thought when I read that. Creepy. But then I didn't want to say anything about it because I thought you guys would judge me

Apparently you're not allowed to have a gathering of friends without inviting Scott.

If you do, he gets all pissy, shows up uninvited, and then is confused as to what he's done wrong.

Our admin didn't like how strongly Sketchy worded this.

also, technically he was invited, by me. whoever set up the facebook event should have been more circumspect:

there is another setting if you want events to be called out as invitation-list only.

You have a PM Joby. We can take this offline and talk about it if you like. If you have beef with me, then say something. You have plenty of opportunity and means. Yes, I am understandably confused about what you think I've done wrong, or how you consider this to be the place to talk about it. Or why you're still crying about it 24 hours after the fact.

I don't EVEN know what Sketchy could have said. We spent 20 minutes bullshitting and having a good time at the party, talking a little about horology and the like. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I'm smarter than the average bear. If there was some hostility there, it wasn't prevalent.

Fuck that.

Oh, Happy New Year Joby. Thanks for the invite, but I had family in town.

I think this is a perfect metaphor for the whole thread. Maybe even the whole bike club.
