Yeah Scott you seem to have found an unlikely gold strike of trees so I'd roll with it. I only spotted the one which i grabbed last night. Your location is not in the immediate route but your tree harvesting is the most productive and you've done the work for a lot of people.

Keep grabbing all you see though.

And if you aren't bringing a tree for some reason please be sure to be hauling plenty of beer - whiskey - snacks.

I want to take the most direct route from Westlake to the fire.

If you're treeless, come to Scott's house BEFORE the 7:00 meetup at westlake.

I'll take one, preferably backpack-sized. plz post or PM me your address.

Scott - did you pick up the one from the corner of Boston & Minor in Eastlake? I was gonna bring that one, but then it was gone. :)

Ha, not me! Got the one on the corner of Boylston and Lynn though.

I NOW PERSONALLY HAVE 14 TREES IN MY BACK YARD. There are a couple smaller pseudo-baby trees but by in large these are good sized trees. A couple of them are quite big. Later tonight Chase and I are going on another run this evening - should get another 4 or 5 and then I'm calling it good. Capitol Hill's yard waste day is apparently tomorrow morning so this is the last chance.

Can I sign up for one of those? I'll bring a rack and bungees, and have some spare bungees if anyone needs one or two.

See you at the prefunk.

I live here: http://tinyurl.com/scotts-xmastree-house

You can see my crappy car in the link. Awesome.

206.412.3055 - my cell

Be here around 6pm. I'll have some shitty beer and some shitty whiskey and shitty rope and LOTS of trees. So.

Bring your bike
Bring your trailer if you have one - if you don't, come anyways and we'll work it out.
Bring more rope/something to lash trees to your bike or your person.

If this year is like last year we'll make a stop for beer at Fred Meyer, and liquor at the liquor store by the Sloop. I'm not leading this travesty though so don't take that for law.

I once took four kids with computers from Maine to Massachusetts in a Subaru DL hatchback by strapping the monitors on the roof in a giant cardboard box a third the size of the car. Needless to say, I got a flat tire from overloading thirty miles from home. Of course, we still made it.

Which is to say that I intend on showing up at Scotts with my xtracycle, Ken's burley trailer, ratchet straps and a lot of spare tubes. Save me the trouble of changing flats and show up wanting to duct tape a tree to each of your arms.

Fuggit, if you didn't pick up one of Scott's trees where he did half the work for you, your job is to buy/haul the whiskey-beer-snacks.

Scott, have all of your trees been claimed for hauling? If not, please put me down for one. I'll also bring beer, and it will probably be of the delicious variety.

Chase and I may make one last run around the hill for trees before the green waste trucks come this afternoon if anyone is still in need of a tree to carry.

I need a tree! Have rack, no trailer. In case trees are out of supply, will bring panniers to maximize alcohauling.

(In case you didn't notice, Andre, I just threw down.)

Hey guys, I found a stash of trees in Ballard for you to consider. It's just inside the LEVA (apartment) building. Go in the garage entrance which is located on the south side of the building, in between 15th & 17th AVE on 54th St. They're just inside the entrance on the right. There's probably about 15 trees just sitting there, most of which have been there for over a week drying out....

I'm not riding tonight because I work at Snoose until 11pm or so. You guys should swing by or let me know if you're still at the Sloop.

I'll be showing up at Scott's with nothing but a 10 year-old aluminum bicycle and my own aging body. Objects may be tied to the latter up to (but not exceeding) the point at which it can no longer be carried by the former.

I may bring some booze, as well . . . by way of covering my ass in the likely event that this whole tree-carrying idea proves to be as ill-conceived as it sounds. I don't want you people to ferment me and drink me for not pulling my weight.

I only have 14 trees and many of them are spoken for. If you're on my list (see previous post), you're good to go.

Christ, ONLY 14.

Basically everyone not on my list already should try to get trees on their own. Kalen, if you could hit up that place Bob Hall just spoke of, that would be EXCELLENT. I realize you can't get them all but if you could get what you can and then report on the rest, that would be rad.

Lee, haven't heard from you either and if memory serves you have a rather large trailer yourself. Please feel free to come by both of you, but if you can preload some, that would be awesome. Yeah I have a bunch of trees but not nearly enough for the whole shizzow.

MOAR TREES ZOMG

Dear Bob Hall,

I'd like to order one pizza delivered to the LEVA building and a 2nd pizza delivered immediately thereafter to golden gardens. Please provide hot pepper, Parmesan, and lots of pine needle toppings.

I'll be headed to Scott's for the prefunk. If there's not enough trees to go around there, I'll gladly head up a splinter group (HAHAHAHA GET IT!?!) to that apartment complex along with anyone else treeless.
