We will be taking a page from last year's Gomeansgo's Tour de Watertowers.

We are going to, well tour the watertowers at some of the highest peaks in seattle. They are in some pretty cool spots/routes and I am sure there will be a beverage break.

PS weather is looking to be pretty good. A few showers in the morning but while we ride its supposed to be clear and even a bit sunny,

I will either bring gears to this, or bourbon, which is kind of the same thing.

There was a significant showing of neither, but good times were still had. We came to consensus on the need for more bars and stores at water towers though.

hills are pretty fun... with gears.

this was the ride of meetups and ride-bys. first stop was volunteer park to meet petejr, alex b. and joeball (who came bearing pizza slices). on the way we passed t-ball in her car. then tv's rainn wilson made an appearance. in the u district, btm swung into the ride. then alex (who had gone ahead to get new pedals) met back up with us. along the ride we also spotted lee, alex w. and kerry with felix. thanks again to padraic for providing a kickass riding soundtrack, including several references to patrick swayze.

highlight for me was when the couple who had stopped with us at the top of Interlaken asked, "Are you guys some kind of gang?"

I have to say I was jealous when you guys went riding by, and I almost cancelled my afternoon plans to catch up and go riding.

Really sad I missed this one. I've been fighting off a chest cold for the past few days. I got to Cap Hill and had to turn around and go home because I was coughing so much. Hopefully next Sunday will be just as pretty as yesterday.
