This week we are going to headdown to Renton via the Duwamish trail and the green river trail. We will include a stop at lovely Lorettas where they have a secret Airstream to hang out and drink beer and eat $3 burgers. In Renton we can stop at the Dog and Pony and possibly head back via Lake Washington. SuperBowls are boring anyway.

PS If you haven't become a fan of us on Facebook you should. We are at 97 and its driving me nuts. Can't we get an even 100? http://www.facebook.com/bikesabbath

They also have $3 vegan burgers! And booze booze booze.

I'm there if I don't get called into work to make advertisements for cell phones.

I'm in. The superbowl is only worth watching for the commercials, and those will be online later anyway.

I hate missing these rides. Uhhhgggg... I have 3 more Sunday classes left, and then it's on for some Bike Sabbath! I have been dying to ride with you guys for months now, and have been missing way too many Thursday and Sunday rides because of school. I know, I know, who has school on Sundays? I do.

See you all soon!!! I'm anxiously counting down the days...

That was the best ride ever:

Launchpad
Work
Buy groceries
Buy pants for yoga
Twilight Exit

I think I got a solid 4, possibly 5 miles in.

But more importantly, concerning our discussion on Bon Jovi and Sunday night karaoke at Twilight Exit: Pop-Song Correspondences, Volume XII.

I especially like the part where we climbed 300ft at 120 mph.

Yeah I saw that too. Who wouldn't want a bike computer that made you faster.

I don't know what Peter was using but Evan also had a new GPS out, it was the Garmin Edge 500.

Looks to have much longer battery life since they dropped the navigation screen. It's more for tracking your route but has barometric altimeter too so you can see your accumulated elevation while you ride too.

peter has something with no screen at all, it's just a gps that you leave in your pocket.

that's how fast I climb Madrona and i'm sticking to that story

i use this one:

If getting something today I'd seek out the one with the longest battery life.

I do like the idea of having a battery pack, instead of triple A's. Hmmmmmm.
