I'm not riding tonight, but i wanted to post and mention that there are some really awesome dogs running around on top of a building i can see from my desk. Dogs on top of 40 story buildings are generally pretty badass.

Anyway, here's what i expect tonight's ride to look like:

I've got your backup on getting drunk Kristen!

May I suggest we drink during the happiest hour at Bill's Off Broadway? $2.75 yummy pints and cheap food don't sound too bad to me.

But in the end you wound up pretty alright, since the firing squad was comprised of teaching doctors.

I have to head home post-work and can't make prefunk, and then may get lazy and stay on my couch. Anybody know where we're (you're) going tonight? It'd help my planning...

I'm not opposed to being able to stay home AND go on the ride at the same time. I still have a costco sized package of jalapeno poppers I don't want to eat. I'm also two blocks from the sloop. But seriously, does anyone have route ideas for tonight? If it's going north I'd love to join up later.

how long will it take to get the poppers all made? if you can have about a hundred ready to go by the time we roll to your house, i'll consider telling you where the ride is going.

Wait, since when did you think it was acceptable to be snarky to your friends on the interweb?

Hey guys! Monica here. Some of you might know me as the girl who sometimes looks like Chase, who you might know was the January Greenlake winner. I will be possibly meeting later depending on homework. Please keep the Twitter/Foursquare updates coming. Thank you.

In all seriousness, if you thought Whistler was expensive before, it's FUCK ALL now because of the Orympixxx. $50 for a 5th of Jack. $8 for a Harp Lager, Smokes are about $14-15. No such thing as happy hour up here.

Um, if you were referencing the wiki, I think you meant:

Thats it. You're getting wiki'd. Lemme get good and liquored up first. None of this "i'm writing my own guidelines" shit either.

Can't remember whether I've ever bought smokes, or a bottle of liquor, in Whistler, but..... as far as a pint of Harp or Guinness in a pub, I think they're usually 8 bucks. (?)

Anyway, about tonight's ride... glad to finally ride Harbor Island!!!
the wet slick railroad tracks did suck, for at least two of us, but yeah.. all good.

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3470286
(did I get that route about right? ... only part I wasn't sure of was the part from Harbor Island to 9lb)

That's pretty close. We rode through the parking lots instead of on the street, but the lots ran parallel to that street.
