Let's go here:
http://www.yelp.com/biz/rimrock-steakhouse-seattle

I've been passing it on my bus ride out to school for like 7 years and finally stopped in a few weeks ago on my bike ride home; swell dive bar (caveat: I had eaten a space cookie earlier en route) and also, 2nd and 4th Thursdays they have no cover kareoke.

Just a suggestion...

What - that Canada has fewer than half the medals the U.S. does? Why would he be excited about that?

Good news - I have a job now - finally
BAD NEWS - I am working Sunday so I have to miss riding FHR AGAIN. I've only been riding hill-climbing training rides on my fixie for 2 straight months in anticipation of this - no biggie.
Good news - I do have Friday off, so I can actually ride and actually stay up late for this Thursdays ride - I been missing this trainwreck a bit lately. I'll bring something delicious and mind-destroying to share.

This place has a notoriously awesome house band--one that handles requests of the nature some people like to ironically enjoy.

What the heck?! Livin on a Prayer at a lowly #14? Journey not in the top 5? NO BRUCE anywhere to be found?????

Considering the weather recently, I think a duet of "Summer Nights" could be appropriate.

We ride in (almost):

Thinks he needs to go visit his local Class VI before tonight's ride.

Ponders why the Roman numeral for 6 inspires that word filter....Anyway

It's Lee's favorite installment of the Final Fantasy series. And while we're talking about word processors, I prefer Emacs or VI to Microsoft word.

Or gedit. That one is pretty cool, too.

That is a vicious word filter alright. I think clearly lee is the culprit.

XEmacs 4EVAR... Actually I mostly use Kate but I find the editor wars entertaining.

MacVim works pretty well. Also gives you a sweet "Edit in MacVim" button in all Cocoa apps.

This filter has been on the forum for years. YEARS. And only been triggered a handful of times.

It's sitting in my backyard, while I'm at work, writing a midterm. I kind of miss it right now. And before you get any ideas, I have chained it to a post.

Which brings me to my next order of business: Daryl, I can't make it out tonight. There's no way I will have this test written and copied by 7pm. I should be able to get it done in time to buy some ribs and BBQ sauce, and commence day six of my attempt to grill for 30 consecutive days.
