In the spirit of the bike swap tomorrow, and me moving and needing to get rid of a lot of my clothes, I'm inviting people over tomorrow afternoon for a mini swap meet at my place. It had been discussed that this would be a no-boys-allowed event, but I say it's okay if boys come. Thinking maybe around 4pm. Anybody interested?

I'm interested! What sort of things are you looking for in return for the swapping? Is it just a bring clothes you don't want sort of thing?

I am mostly giving away clothes and maybe some other things like books and kitchen suff. There was talk of music and bike stuff on Thursday. What are you thinking

That sounds good to me! I can also bring over some bacon n mac n cheese leftovers. It's damn tasty but I made way too much of this stuff and I fear what would happen if I ate all of it.

Turns out when you try to move out of the country, have your family in town for a week and have more crap than you know what to do with you become not so good at planning small simple get togethers. Here is what I propose for cleaning of closets and swapping of things: Brunch on capitol hill per usual then those who would like to/are available can come over for swapping. We could also do something later in the evening but I need my house cleanish by 7 when my parents and brother are going to be getting into town.

I have an apt from 2-3 down town I can do before that or after that. I am going to be very hungover in the morning but that does not mean we can not get together in the AM. I have to pick up the fam at the airport around 7-8 so I will need to be done by then.
