"Police said it was also obvious that the man (45) and his girlfriend, 26, were living in the unit. The woman was asleep there when officers arrived."

Apparently bike theft isn't a high-paying occupation.

I know I shouldn't have, but I read the comments. What's this about a guy with a bunch of "found" bikes piled up behind the Salmon Bay Cafe?

Would this be the guy that always takes pictures of the bikes like they are down on the docks at the water. The seller seems fond of that back drop.

That's Tiny. He's a nice small brown man, sells bikes for peanuts. I'm not going to vouch for the man, but there wasn't a bike in there under 30lbs when Monica and I wandered over there a little over a year ago. If he had thefted bikes, it wasn't immediately evident.

Funny, Monica still ended up with a bike that weight 30#s (LHT) but she didn't mind since she liked the color.
