The UW cycling team is hosting their annual Seward Park Criterium this Sunday, March 28th. Come see me and some other goddamn squids wear brightly colored spandex and ride around in circles. I'll be racing at 11AM, and the Mens A field goes off at high noon.

Depending on the weather, this sounds really entertaining - I'm a maybe, Jeff! Especially if we can fight for a viewing spot on the hairpin!

Henry, you're also usually lame to watch, but every once in awhile you do something interesting...
Ladies in very tight clothing riding incredibly fast with the potential for serious wipeouts at any moment (fingers, toes, etc crossed and wood knocked on for you, kat - but com'on, you know we love it) is lame? One of the best afternoons I had last summer was watching the Twilight Crit in my neighborhood for this reason and more.

Does this mean you'll be competing for the vaporizer on Saturday?

I'll be racing in Bellingham on Saturday, sadly.
And you know I have no idea what a vaporizer is, nor what one is used for. Geez.

crits are a step in the right direction, more so than a typical race but i'm still waiting for the day that Bicycle Biathlons catch on....even if its only air rifles....

I'm down, as a pre-Bike Sabbath activity. We ride late man. If it starts at 11am, I can get in at least an hour of snide comments.

I am so bummed I missed this. I was all set to go when my roommate asked me to help his girlfriend's neighbor give her cat a bath.
Sad face.
