I am moving back to Portland. I'll be back to visit soon! Thanks for the drunk, bloody, wild and embarrassing times! A Portland chapter of Point 83 might be in the future.

Dammit, our douchebag campy bikes number just went down again. Everyone touches themselves to Rohloff's around here.

I have 2 Campy parts in my entire basement of bike crap, and I'm giving them to you. They are very shiny brand new Campy brake lever blades for some flavor of Ergo levers. Maybe you can turn them into nice jewelry?

Rohloff count in the club is going up by one. Andrew C just bought a used one, it should arrive tomorrow and he's setting it up on his touring Univega.

PDX.83

Also, part 1: my friends in pdx are pretty lame about riding bikes and drinking beer, so any new friends are appreciated.
Also, part 2: I think the meetup might need to move a little closer to downtown, since I don't think I can make it to holladay park by 7:30 as my class gets out at 7:10 on thursday.

only ass-y er. and often rented out for "civic" events. like hobo-watching, or the olympics. Oh, and full of rent-a-cops hassling the bums and anyone who looks like they might be trouble. so, yes, central public space like westlake, but puts the "ick" in pube-lick.

I was thinking somewhere on the south park blocks

You joke, but I have a tool which I keep around specifically to punch out the retainer pin on those Ergo flavor Campy brake lever blades.

On a similar note, I just spent a short time being frustrated because I couldn't locate a chainring that wasn't 135 or 144 in my stack of rings. The thought "I bet Alex has a 40-42 tooth 130 bcd chainring." Turns out there was a new ramped steel 39 tooth 10spd 130 bcd ring, that somehow came into my possession, which was hiding under some Mirage cranks. I'm sure someone could put it to better use than my wacky experiment in 1x8. Any takers?

I still have a bag of your campy cranks in my car. Any time you want them.

Are you sure some sneaky Mexican didn't steal it from your trunk or do you have even more Campy gear to give me?

So, PointDexyThree, how bout getting them rides going so I have an excuse to roll over there on my occasional free Thursday?

Elephant on the north park blocks. Right across from Powell's Technical, which should appeal to the .83 crowd.
