In case you haven't already seen it on the interwebz, our BMX video is complete and a premiere will be held this Thursday at 7pm at the Guild Theater on 45th St in Wallingford.
Friday night starting at 8pm, there will be a party with free gear from the sponsors and a taco truck at Still Liquor on Capitol Hill. Hopefully, there will be another showing of the video if we can find a projector...
I know it's the same time as the meet-up for Thursday's ride, but if any of you want to ride early out to Wallingford, PreFunk and then go to see the video with me, you are more than welcome, and that would be really sweet!
Thanks and hope to see ya there?!
-Sean

Will this get me laid and will there be bike parking?
Wait... Taco Truck?
Also: I have a projector.

Dang, you guys missed a sweet movie last night, kinda bummed that no one from .83 showed up... well, you can redeem yourself by coming out to Still Liquor tonight at 8:00pm for a Refresh party and another showing of the new video (between Pike & Pine at 1524 Minor Ave).
I was thinking of maybe riding in Critical Mass (edit: whoops, that's next week) or something before hand too, hope to see some of ya, it's so nice out today!
And big thanks Rogelio for bringin' out the HD projector tonight!

... yes, this is a possibility, but I always enjoy riding my bike with a bunch of idiots, even if they are slow. Please feel free to propose something better...

Oooh fuck, you're right. It's on my work computer's calendar to show up the 4th Friday of every month, I am now realizing that this month there are 5 Fridays. Thanks, I would have been all alone at Westlake Center... Critically Unmassive!
Still open for suggestions of fun-in-the-sun activities this afternoon before the Refresh party at 8:00...

I've never heard of Still Liquor, will try to make it. Last night was pretty great ride, sorry we couldn't make it.

So it's been decided that BMX guys are definitely burlier than roadie guys. Way to make a 6'2" man feel small, guys.

I also noticed BMX guys don't actually ride bikes, either. Quite the jostle for parking going on...

I don't think there wont be any more large premiere parties, we are all pretty beat after doing it 4 nights in a row... BUT, I am more than happy to have some people over sometime to drink some beers and watch on my big screen, though seating is a little limited in my TV room we can still get a little group in there.
I have yet to see Surfin' for the Ugly Broads (it premiered in Portland while we were premiering Refresh in Seattle), but I have heard it is indeed weird… Sean Burns is a nut case and an amazing bike rider, I would love to see what the hell his whole video is like.

Sweet, thanks Scott! Shall we start scheduling an evening to do this?
FYI - I might be out backpacking this weekend, so Fri-Sun night might not work.

Tomorrow, my pad, 730, game on.
Sean, can you give me a call so I can get the movie from you ahead of time? I want to ensure it'll play before I have a room full of people at my pad to see a movie that's not wont to play for whatever reason.

The projector should still be a Sean's.
I will be watching Point Break @ Central Cinema, bitches. Also, why are you possibly scheduling non-tequila/taco related activities on a Mexican battle victory day?

Damn, yet another one of my friends stolen away by Gretchen...
FYI - Brian still has the projector as he hasn't been able to meet up with me yet... might get it late tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again for letting us borrow it, but sorry it didn't work!
Update: just handed off the video to Schkotty (thanks for stoppin' by!)

I has the video.
Be at my place at 730 tomorrow.
Next Wednesday lets do it at Dead Baby Terry's place in Ballard. He has huge space and big projector and said he'd totally be down.
That might also be good op to combine it with wrench party if there were those inclined - get bikes and shit in order before Ben Country, but ymmv.
