That is like some kind of bicycle utopia. I wonder if it would be frustrating, like the burke on a sunny day. These people seem to know whats up though.

Yeah, the average speed on the bike paths is something like 12MPH, and you can end up stuck behind folks at rush hour.
I've never been honked at when I switch from the bike path to the road though.

Nobody wears a helmet there because the infrastructure was designed around bicycles giving them an equal share to cars. Unlike here, where the infrastructure is designed for cars, and then bike infrastructure is added as an afterthought. Also to keep in mind, cars are always on the lookout for bikes there, everyone is riding an upright city bike at 10-12mph (when I was in the suburbs, where you saw road bikes, those riders wore helmets), and all the cyclists are following the rules. Note how everyone there waits for the signal even when the intersection is clear.
