In today's PI Pacific Northwest magazine, describing "our bike culture 'layers'": "There are the Point83 cyclists, the Tasmanian devils of bicycling, a bawdy, beer drinking crew, flying the skull and crossbones; the name of their own version of the Chilly Hilly isn't printable in a family newspaper."
(And there's a photo of Chase "studying" bike components at the bike swap.)

Oh fine, fuck it. Maybe some incredulous intern for the stranger will link to this column on the Slog and then we can troll the trolls there.

I have a lot of interesting things to say.
2) This writer is not nearly as clever as she would like to believe. Nor does she understand bike culture as thoroughly as she thinks. Simultaneously, she did manage to sort of not totally fuck-up encapsulation of "bike" in a manner easily digested by PI readers. I will extend her credit for that.
B_ Fucking magnets, hot lava, and long-neck giraffes.
4: Sylvie got a higher word-count than .83. Maybe we should consider retitling the Fucking Hills Race to something printable in a family newspaper.
5: I have been drinking.
6: The tweed ride got a higher word-count than the FHR. Did I say that already? I mean, I don't really care, because it's just the PI. But seriously.
8: Max Shalitmontagne is a 19-year-old student at The Evergreen State College. He was tutelagered by his bike-crazy father, whose name was Eric Shalit. I sincerely hope that his mother's name was Hannah Montagne.
9: I would also like to believe that our young Max is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Bike Porn 3 at Evergreen State College. (Because Evergreen gives out bullshit degrees, in case you didn't understand that joke)
10: Also, he tried to eat my cell-phone. Pure motherfucking magic.
It's a fluff piece about the different brands of cyclists.
If you have legitimate beef with that let's hear it.
