Hey jerks. I'm passing this along on behalf of my ladyfriend's performance troupe. Her name is Talia, and some of you have met her. Her friend, and the author of the following message is Dani; some of you have met her on rides and/or recovered stolen bicycles for her.

Hi All,
The Seattle Sugarplum Elves (http://www.sugarplumelves.com/hire_sea.html) who are group dedicated to spreading cheer are looking for some help with the Fremont Solstice Parade.
We are in need of a small posse of bicycles(3) with flatbed trailers. The bicycle trailers are needed for carrying our supplies for playing with the crowd, and we would possibly like to make one into a mini-float for the event. Anyone helping by lending us a trailer (and participating in the event if you like) are guaranteed to have the gratitude of 10 lovely elves and an extremely memorable day on the streets of Fremont. There is a little bit of a time commitment that goes with being in the parade with us but we are extemely flexible (except for the day of the parade where we need to have all our "bikes" in a row). If you have any questions, feel free to email me at freedomintexas@gmail.com.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I (Justin) will be riding one of the bicycles (so 2 more volunteers and 3 more trailers are needed), and I will take full responsibility for any trailer loans.
I'm planning on riding the parade but without pants.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped make this happen.
Grand prize goes to Dave. Thanks for the generous use of your trailers, for hauling around the sound-system, for ensuring safety, and for being generally awesome.
Thanks to Kyleen for wearing a chicken suit, chasing elves, and sweating buckets in the process.
Thanks go to Rogelio for making sure the water guns never ran dry, and for taking over trike-riding duties when that other dude finally succumbed to the cookies.
Thank you Ryan for wearing your pants.
Thanks Nygaard for taking pictures of bikes, even if you don't ride them anymore (I kid, I kid).
Finally, thanks Derrick for pouring a half-pint of unidentified booze into my drink-hole near the end of the parade.
