I can never quite get how the loop goes around the bobbin while the bobbin held in place without the thread getting wrapped around the axle. I keep almost-getting it and then it goes away again.

A rather well done animation made on an Amiga 500 (also called a "Rock Lobster" for you computer geeks) with 1mg memory (WTF!!!) in early 90's with a recorded to VHS tape, awesome:
