it's light out late, so we might just be piling on the miles before we pile on some more miles.
but instead of issaquah this time we get grilled meat.
anybody got a small hibachi?

I do, unless it grew legs from my shed. Let me double check when I get home and if so, we can coordinate its pickup since I won't be on the ride due to softball double-header action.

I am certain that I do. You can pick it up from me tonight when you get your cranks. Because I'm sure as hell not hauling it on the ride.
two points to mention:
When I was 10 and first moved to the Seattle area, we stayed at the Unitarian church's parking lot adjacent to this park (yes, hippies +schoolbus = Unitarians). It is nice and woodsy and has a maintained security presence. 3am fires will probably be extinguished.
There is no good way there. Des Moines Memorial is a long uphill deathmarch, and the route from Kent is straight up the hill. Sarah has been battling this as the school she teaches at is up on the bluff abot SWSTP.

FWIW: here's my former bike to work route when I worked in Fed Way, which goes right by Saltwater SP. Most of it was pretty mellow; either residential arterials and the parts that are on busy streets (1st Ave S) have pretty good bike lanes or shoulders.
Anyway.. stoked to finally ride with you assclowns again .... in ..... EIGHT!

Dude, I'm packing up for the JoeBizzy Mountain Adventure, prefunking in the Land of Oz (some reason the name of the Manor that I live in) and it's fucking 95 degrees in my room right now. Swimming sounds pretty much amazing if I can even get enough energy to make it out of here without passing out...
Perhaps our Chaser can work some magic upon his entrance?

When a bar doesn't want our money, we shouldn't give them any.

Oh and Fred, did you make it back OK? (the Fred who had the flat right before we left the park.) About half way down that long hill on Int'l Blvd I stopped to wait for you ... or what I thought was you, way back there.
Waited and waited for a long while, but then started wondered if you were in fact with the group ahead of me, so kept doing down hill.... at bottom of hill, didn't find anyone, but I was ready to go home anyway, so jumped on the Duwamish trail there.

Light rail to mt. Baker Sometimes I think of suicide, but I'm too pathetic and lazy to pull it off. Women hate me.. Scott reverse order is awesome

You know, for as long a ride as that was, there were a lot of things that could have gone wrong.
Less than 30% of those things actually went wrong, however, making this ride 85% successful.
Also, there were some lessons learned:
Never bring a hibachi on a ride. Hibachi fastening can be done better. The details aren't worth elaboration, but I have ideas.
If Joby is trying to convince you that a bar in Sea-Tac (Des Moines?) is awesome because they have steak and karaoke and drink specials, it isn't because that bar is actually cool. It is because he is trolling you IRL.

I'm already in my office at 7:15. Mostly because when it was 1am and I was just at westlake, I decided sleeping in my office was the way to go.
I just bought a pair of dish towels at Bartell's to use to shower with (showers in our building thank god) so I'm "presentable" for coworkers.
