To Lee's surprise, I'm NOT turning 26. I'm turning 24.
I like you people, and I like tennis, so I'd like to play tennis with you people at Greenlake's courts by the baseball/soccer fields at 6 on Tuesday the 29th.
If you don't even like tennis, please at least come hang out for little bit, it'd be nice to see your faces. Bring a frisbee if you are opposed to .83ers on concrete with potential weapons in their hands.
I will have a bunch of balls, and about five extra rackets, so if you have extra rackets, please bring them.
DO NOT WORRY if you aren't good at tennis, we can have group lessons for beginners (or moving targets).
Please feel free to bring any extras needed for this event (mimosas, greyhounds, golf claps, etc...), and also bring your tennis outfits and your A GAME.
If tennis gets stale, it'd be fun to go dance in Ballard afterward, or maybe do some karaoke somewhere. I'm excited to see some of you Thursdayers on Tuesday. Hope you can make it!

Thanks Liz, after yesterday, I'm stoked for more tennis! Cound me in if the weather is dry (Wet Tennis = Fail)
Though, usually Tuesday rides meet up at a prefunk first around 6pm or so, eat/drink, then we gather at UW's Red Square at 7pm and ride somewhere (to the south end of Greenlake?).
Or should we all just go meet there; drink, eat and be merry with yellow-green balls for a good while, before riding somewhere else as the darkness approaches?

I support the "ride to Ballard" part of this plan as well. Great idea, Liz! I'll try to bring treats of some kind.

I will be at the Greenlake courts at 6:00 pm with some balls, rackets, and whoever else will be there at 6 (if you have your own rackets please try to bring them, as we ran low last year).
If you'd like to do the normal ride with pre-funk and meetup, by all means go for it, we'll probably still be at the courts playing for a while if you meet up later. I had no plans with making this a Tuesday ride by definition, it's just happening this Tuesday because this Tuesday is my birthday.
If the weather is lookin' fine bring some swim shorts, it would be fun to jump in some water afterward (like last year).
