I don't know if this thread or the AndrewW thread is more disturbing.

please allow me to point out that if you didn't actually have something to start with, then you can't have lost it.

Did you follow up at all to figure out why exactly the greenlake race or .83 put him off?
Was it just our propensity to ride unsafely? I suppose you'd be interested in safety running a bike business.

There are only two people who have been asked not to ride with point83.

Because I know who've been asked not to ride, and know Roy Wilke has been trying to start a shitty little courier service since he was a fat IT guy working at Real in 1999. When later I found out he'd found and been thrown out of jerkythree in record time... Well, can't say as i was terribly surprised.
You're better off working for jimmy johns or snoose junction.

Ah Yes. Roy Wilkie. He makes $50,000 a year.
We know, because he told us all about it at the greenlake race.
After he tried to pick a fight with paul.
This dude is awesome.

Hey Fred, do you feel like posting the contact info? Pretty sure Aaron Bradford would like to apply.
Enemy of my enemy and whatnot.

I just want to throw in my two cents here. Roy has defiantly mellowed out since we first met. He stopped drinking. He works really hard. He actually cares about his clients, unlike most messengers who just want to get drunk at work all day. As far as I'm concerned he provides the best messenger service in the city.

So what you're saying is that he's mellowed out, but not quite enough to avoid hiring a dude because he rides with us?
Interesting definition of mellow.

We used to have a fax machine that would never drink on the job, but this damn email thing is drunk all the time! Oh for the old days.
