I'm going to try and be slightly less dickish. We're assholes on the forums because we know each other in real life and there are consequences.
Anyway, it's Tuesday, so if you show up here at about 7pm a small group of cyclists will appear and ride to Shoreline.
On Thursday at about 7pm show up here and a large group of cyclists will ride to a pizzahut/tacobell.
Rides leave at 7:30pm sharp. Folks meet beforehand to happy hour, keep an eye on the thread for that day's ride for details on said pre-funking.
I go down to Austin sometimes. What's the big Thursday social ride I've seen roll by?

This isn't social networking. That would be Facebook, or MySpace, or Match.com, or Adult Friend Finder. This is the .83 forum, which is for the exclusive use of .83 riders to be gigantic dicks to each other.
At any rate, if you would like to ride bikes then I encourage you to do so. A good place to do that might be one one of our scheduled rides, which I helpfully directed you to. A merry time will be had by all, or at least those who don't wind up in the ER with the Wreyfords, and we will likely be much nicer in person. Our studies have found that the weekly rides are a much better place to ride bikes than the Internet, where the weather is unpredictable.
We hope to see you soon!

P.S. Also, we typically encourage new members to go on at least one ride before they criticize how we run things. I mean, that's more of a guideline than a hard rule, but still.

In the future, all hazing will be done efficiently with 0's and 1's from one's cubicle farm.
(this brings back bad memories of the gym showers in my early high school years.....*shudder*)

JSMG, I just want to ride with anyone and everyone is Seattle. I am not criticizing anyone or anything. Just looking for some friendlies to ride with. I was told this was a great way to get involved by a handful of locals, so was just expecting some more open help than what was given.
I just want to get out and enjoy Seattle just like ya'll, I just don't have any connections yet here.
Thanks for the follow up and ya'll will see me a lot this month!
I just LOVE To FREAKING BIKE AROUND! Hope to meet ya'll!!!
Peace and Love,
Brian

It's essential that you quote the asinine comments you're making fun of before they get deleted. here I come along after the fact and I miss all the fun.
