When Jeff and I rolled by, the driver had just jogged off to fetch him an ice pack.
His hand was pretty swollen, there's likely some shit broken up in there. Cops were en route. The driver is a cyclist ("250 miles a week") with a roof rack, he's going to give Ito a ride to the hospital for some X-ray tiems

dammit! i thought i was recovering. went to hand specialist today, he looked at me, then my xray. he called the er docs boneheads and showed me my broken knuckle, my two dislocated fingers, and told me about my broken ligaments and tendons. scheduled me for 730 am emergency surgery tomorrow complete with plates pins and screws. 6 week recovery time at the minimum. shapoopie!

My experience is that ER docs are good if you need Vicodin and/or stitches. For broken bones, see an orthopedist.
