Passed this on the way into work too, and also had a knee jerk response of "Signal file takes up a lot more space, and makes it harder to jockey for a good position to drop everyone else at this light." Then I ran the red light.
I guess I am part of the problem.

just rode past and it seems it's gone now. i'm bummed because it would have made a good addition to the crazy guy on eastlake's collection of handwritten signs.

Lee, there was one at Dexter & Mercer as well. Don't give up hope for re-purposing just yet.
