!!! It's Bicycle Film Festival time!!!
This WILL be a weekend of awesome bike films. Quality films from all across the bike world. Cyclocross, BMX, alleycats, urban/street cycling, funny shorts from the 80s, international - it's covered.
You can buy tickets to individual programs or buy a festival pass and see every last one of them. There will be an alleycat race & roller sprints on Sat and rockin' after parties on Friday and Saturday evenings.
I hear from Jeff that the elusive DJ Cuddlebunny will be kicking off the party at the Orient Express on Friday night. Just don't get arrested (or have your bail bondsman on notice) so you can make it to the race on Saturday. Dash will be closing out both nights as well, so your wee hours will not be beat-free.
We'll be posting up at the parties around 9ish each night, so head on over if you're not going to the last programs (but you should - shorts!). Parties kick off for real at 10pm.
Sounds like there might be some polo in the lot on Sunday, too. Details at the event.

This whole festival was awesome. Last year I only went to one program, this year I caught everything. This song will be stuck in my head for a while.
The afterparties on Fri & Sat were fantastic. I liked the ample mobile bike racks at Siren, that was a great idea. Props, props. If you haven't been to the Siren Tavern before, it's roomy, has food late, and there's a nice semi-covered back deck. It would be a good .83 bar destination.
I'm glad Brendt showed up, festival founder in the house! The guy is rad, on Sunday he kept drinking and his introductions kept getting more insightful. He wants more Seattle films. Prof Dave, you should submit your filmed by bike video!
And if anyone wants some Relentless, I built up a nice stash of free samples. It's really not that bad. Better than Redbull IMHO.

Hello. Would you like to try a new cutting edge energy drink? It comes with an authentic boost of natural energy, made from healthy things that come from the Earth like vitamins, vegetables, plants, and miscellaneous non-synthetic elements. You won't feel the same 'crash' that you feel when you consume other energy drinks

Energy drinks are universally nasty. Relentless is no exception. Tasted like medicinal sweet tarts and I'm pretty sure my teeth attempted suicide afterwards.
