I had pizza today.

And then two hours later, I ate a Jumbo Jack with cheese, and two tacos. It was simultaneously disgusting and beautiful.

My lunch was really unsatisfying. Not even worth mentioning. Especially not on the forums. I'm hungry still.

Leftover Zeek's pizza, much older leftover ham and potatoes, and vegetables from our garden.

I'm going to catch some heat for this, but I think Paseo's is overrated and much of the love it gets is based on hype and self-manufactured scarcity.

I'm biased because I smell them 5 days a week.

I prefer the pulled pork sandwich at Smokin Pete's, right around the corner from me. That and the chicken shawarma at Sinbad in Fremont get my vote for best sandwich in town. Best chicken shawarma ever. But the thread is already over, so nevermind.

+1

there used to be a taco truck on aurora and 90-something-th that served cuban sandwiches that were a lot more authentic. they were delicious, but the truck closed down the sandwich business in favor of tacos, burritos, etc. *sigh*
