OK so... as I've told some of y'all, I *still* haven't done a century. I once did an 83-mile day (that number wasn't planned, srsly:) with four panniers, which pretty much comes to the same thing as doing a century, but... still gotta do a century. Right of passage for any cyclist.
Here's one I've been kind of eyeing... anyone wanna do it some time this fall/winter?? Anyone have any tips/pointers on this route?

(note: says 113 mi, but 5 of that is the ferry, so it's actually 108 miles).
The western Kitsap Peninsula is kinda cool ... as the crow flies it's only about 30 miles from Seattle, but there's so few towns or even stores, gas stations, etc, that it feels like you're much further away ... almost like you're in eastern WA or Neah Bay or something. Actually tho the last time I was there was over 10 yrs ago, so who knows, it might have changed some....

I did this route recently... it was super pretty but miles 15-37 were super hilly. The rest was just regular hilly. I like riding up at the north end of the peninsula lots more.
