I'm coming down with a bug, and before I get totally incapacitated I want to try to kill what ails me with alcohol. I'd love drinking company today, after work, downtown.
I'm thinking Bathtub Gin, because the cocktails are top-notch, I know the bartender and beer-levels of booze are ineficient for my bug-killing timeframe.

high-proof booze will kill any infectiousness, and I promise not to make out or swap other bodily fluids with you. Or share drinks.

...at 70% v/v ethanol. and that's only sure-fire to kill bacteria. its effect against viruses is limited to reduction in potency.
