The primary date I would like to call your attention to is Saturday Dec 11th, 2010, point83 Christmas Disaster. Block it out. Race/Drinks/Merriment/GiftExchange/Awards more details to follow. Bring any bike you have, but I suggest one with a bottle cage.

Who needs a flask holder when you have a bottle cage?

Below is a more comprehensive but rough list of events that may or may not occur, depending upon whether history decides to repeat itself. Attendance is not mandatory for any of the following. I am not planning all of these things.

Thursday 2010.11.25 Thanksgiving and .83 6th Birthday: Ride meets at WLC an HOUR LATER aka meet at 8pm and leave at 8:30pm.

Thursday 2010.12.02 First Day of Chanukah: Spend it with your family or ride with us.

Saturday 2010.12.11 Point83 Christmas Disaster: Race/Drinks/Merriment/GiftExchange/Awards more details to follow

Saturday 2010.12.18 Santachy: Usually heavily populated by .83

Saturday 2010.12.25 Christmas Day: Spend it with your family, or eat spaghetti

Some Thursday in Dec: Greenlake Race of Champions

Friday 2010.12.31 New Year's Eve: Who's hosting this year?

Early Jan 2011: Christmas Tree Fire

Jan/Feb 2011 Waffles

Feb 2011 FHR!!! (cascade might have dissolved by then so we may have more riders than the chilly hilly)

May 2010 BCVI!!! OMG camping!

I will point out for any event planners that Dec 11 is also the night of Green Way Pathway of Lights, so expect to see lots of people wandering obliviously around the lake near numerous paper bags filled with sand and firestarters.

I believe Jeff and Henry will be playing a show... for all of those.

Also, Jeebus doesn't get a birthday ride?

Funny you should mention it ... the Titans of .83 rock and roll will be playing on saturday. Summer Babes AND The Redwood Plan, 9pm at the Sunset in Ballard.

But! That's the last of the year, so after that you're all free to get drunk under a bridge or whatever it is you do.

maybe +1 week on the disaster and I can come?

Torn: Cross nats in bend getting drunk and heckling people, or disaster!

Blame the drunk santa's (12/18) for the date, well that and Christmas (12/25)

I have no benefit from you going to Bend, but with the Disaster you can have your drunk heckling and eat it too. Also, while "Nats" suggests people will be coming from all over the US one might also suppose they are coming to race and will be in it to win it. They might throttle back on the party. But I have no idea, I've never gone.

I'm not actually racing: Instead I'll be drinking and spectating and riding on the trails. I think I may just start looking at trains now for the disaster.

I'm spending one less day in Norway to go to the disaster, so hopefully it doesn't move!

You're doing god's work joeball!

I'm going home for Christmas, but I'll be here for most of the lulz. I'm looking forward to riding the sidehack as a tree carrier. Anybody got a reindeer costume?

I'm back for the new .83 fiscal year.

Chase is busy dodging bullets in Chicago's Little Puerto Rico.

I fly into Seattle on the eve of the disaster and will have to Joby-it and take a cab from the airport to the party. Where will this be?

Are you officially not doing it on the 16th? I still believe the RoC is compatible with my ride, but it's totally up to you guys. Just let me know so I can adjust my route accordingly.

Shit - what time does the disaster generally start? I will be taking the LSATs all day. Exactly what I want to be doing instead of disastering.

LSAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember studying and taking that exam. Which school are you taking it at SU or UW? I hope you are having fun with the Analytical Reasoning questions, they were some of my favorites. Here is an example. You're going to need a couple of good stiff drinks to unwind after that battle. Good Luck. And it may be the last standardized test you take, as long as you take the Washington Bar exam.

A quick search says 4:30 last year, 4pm the year before. Following trends that means it should start at 5pm this year.

Hahaha, I'm going back to my old Alma Mater of Seattle Central Community College. This bodes well for my legal career.

Stupid link. Can't. Stop. Diagramming.

Better yet, stop in Georgetown and prefunk at the Equinox open house. It's like an entire art walk under one roof, plus food, beer, and live music! Kind of a bummer it's happening at the same time as the Disaster.

You'd think that the Equinox event would be the Saturday closest to the winter solstice, just to be sort of related to it's name. That would be the 18th.

I'm sad to miss the Equinox open house this year, both are awesome, but the point83 party is more fun.

These events are mere blocks apart. Seems like we could pedal betwixt the two.

Everything is happening that night! I have two sugarplum elf gigs beforehand but am planning to catch up with y'all about 9 (in my elfit!). I'd love to see the equinox open house AND sing at goldies. I need clones, 3 of them oughtta do it. Who is the best at science?
