Light rail + suits? Discuss.

From pakajunk blog:

Quote:
The white collar businessman in Japan is called Salaryman.

Stereotypical characteristics include extreme over working, golf, all night karaoke sessions and binge drinking to wash away all the stresses and sorrows. If you go to any major city in Japan, you'll see the drunk salaryman on trains or on the street.

I decided to search the words drunk japanese salaryman on google and these are the images I found.

I already hold personal versions of these rides, mostly on Wednesdays.

I support "Salary Man" Rides.

I'd like to remind everyone of $1.29 colored tag Monday at Goodwill. Sport coats, even entire suits can be found for $1.29 if they have that week's color on the price tag.

I'll need a suit, but I'm interested! And I'm down for one that's under $2, especially if we'll all be laying on the dirty ground by night's end...

I approve of this: perhaps the 9th to allow time? there's no holiday booking on that date, is there?

I recommend the Ballard Goodwill on Mondays. It tends to provide a bit better than the larger but more picked over Dearborn Goodwill.

Lighter Fluid themed ride: What could go wrong?

Are we doing a Business Suit Ride on Thursday? It's Monday, making it a good day for after work shopping at Goodwill and maybe some beers at the Dray.

Yeah, and I can't ride this week and don't want to miss this. Let's all get out assistants together to find a time in our outlook calendars that works well for all mission-critical parties.

Deprioritize current purchasing plans until we get a calendar availability status update?

Nothing's going on on the 20th; that's two weeks to prep so no excuses on not having a shitty suit.

Let's get Eric to add a date to the title and then we get this post sticky.

Tops must match bottoms and I don't recall you having an orange blazer.

we should include in this ride a stop at the Schooner Exact brewhouse on 4th Ave. THey have a killer happy hour until 8, and they told Adam and I if we called ahead that 40 (okay, generous estimate) were coming they'd have extra staff and stay open a little later. We had excellent beers there on Sunday.
